Green Team's Final Presentation

So we survived! The day came for our final presentation and I think we were all feeling a bit nervous just because it was something so foreign to us. None of us had ever presented in any other way than at the top of a classroom in real life so we didn't really know what to expect. I think what I was most nervous about was how the presentation would flow, as the process of changing to the next slide on Second Life is a bit longer than when you're presenting in person, plus you can't get any physical ques off your teammates as to when to start talking.

We did have a bit of a mix up at the start of the class as we hadn't quite figured out how to bring the images into Second Life like we thought we had the previous week. We managed to get it all sorted while the first team presented though so it all worked out eventually.

We were all pretty happy with how the presentation went in the end, even though we were one person short on our team. We got some good feedback from our classmates and lecturers, especially during Louis' video of the robot being able to do surgery on a grape.

Overall, I think our team did a good job of doing this project together and without many bumps in the road on the way! We all got on really well which helped a lot. While we did meet up a good few times in person to sort out our presentation, the use of online services such as google slides, the google drive and especially Facebook messenger made our experience of doing this project together so much easier. I think using services like Facebook messenger or Watsapp really help when doing any kind of group work as you can contact your group at any time with questions and concerns and get a pretty immediate reply, as opposed to having to wait until the next time everyone's free to take time out of their day to meet up at a certain place at a certain time. People are constantly connected with these sort of apps so the likelihood of getting things done faster is much higher, in my opinion.

Overall, I really enjoyed this module and was happy with the work that the Green Team did for our final project.

Thanks so much for your attention and see you soon!
